Dear Volunteer community,

I hope this email finds you well! April is national Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and the Office of Title IX and our partners at the Center for Health Education and Wellness invite you to a month of campus-wide events and activities.

To highlight just one of the month’s opportunities for involvement, CHEW will host Vols Walk for SAAM on Wednesday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The walk will start at the 21st Mortgage Plaza at the Student Union. Wear teal and bring your friends, classmates, and colleagues to raise awareness and show support. A reception will follow with refreshments, educational activities, and event swag.

I also invite you to review the 2022 Title IX annual report. The report serves to support transparency, increase awareness, highlight the work of our campus and community partners, and ensure ongoing accountability.

Please join us for the events and activities marking Sexual Assault Awareness Month. We are working to maintain an informed and engaged community, and we cannot fulfill that mission without you. It takes all of us stepping forward as Volunteers.
