The Center for Health Education and Wellness’ mission is to engage in prevention and intervention efforts to increase awareness, educate students, and positively impact our university environment. The center coordinates campus-wide health and wellness education efforts, sexual misconduct, relationship violence, stalking prevention, personal safety initiatives, and alcohol and substance abuse prevention and intervention.

The Office of the Dean of Students assists student victims of sexual assault with obtaining resources and understanding options. The staff works to engage and support students throughout their learning experience by providing co-curricular programs and services.

Contact the Knoxville Family Justice Center for assistance in pursuing legal remedies such as orders of protection. The center also provides victims of domestic violence and sexual assault with a single location to access advocacy and other services necessary to build a future of choice, safety, and opportunity. It is a safe place with caring and trained staff available to help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children.
